A Demo of the New Ning!

While we’re putting a final few finishing touches on Ning v2 tonight, we did a demo last week with Robert Scoble that’s now live on The Scoble Show.

And thanks to Tech Crunch and Giga Om for such nice posts. We really appreciate it!

Hi ppl! I’m very anxious on Ning v2, mainly because my network is translated, and every new release I have to translate something new. I also have some jQ code and heavy CSS, so I’m a bit concerned on how smooth will my networks keep running.

Where can we read details on how will transition to v2 affect our networks? Any new restrictions on number of embeds in text boxes, number of features or char number in Analytics or Css box?

Any how, so far so good, my partnership with Ning (I am premium user on couple of networks) has been satisfying, and I wish us all the best :)

    Saf,

We’re months away from the next generation of Ning Network, so you don’t have worry about any of these questions for the foreseeable future. The point here is that we are going to start talking about it earlier than we’ve ever started talking about a development process before. Hopefully, this won’t create unnecessary questions or concerns. If it does, then we’ve defeated the purpose of what we’re trying to do :-)
