The File Manager feature allows you to upload and manage files directly on your Ning Network. You can use this feature to store any type of file, add HTML pages and their supporting files, customize the URLs of your uploaded HTML pages, and even specify a customized Main Page that will greet your members before they get to your network.
To get to the File Manager, go to the My Network tab and click the File Manager link from the “Content” menu on the left hand side. Network Creators and Administrators can upload up to 30 files at a time with the File Manager with a maximum of 100 files. Each item you store on your network can have a maximum size of 7 MB. This feature is a great way to store files related to your Ning Network, create customized tabs, and make an impressive splash page for your network.
Please note that – after using a custom HTML page as the network’s homepage – should you decide to delete this HTML file at any point, you will need to first set the Default Homepage back as the homepage.
