There’s just something indefinably appealing about goo floating around in a glass cylinder. Mark Goo knows this. That’s why he created Oozing Goo, a growing network dedicated to the love of lava lamps.

The network already has over 200 members. In the forum, you’ll find discussions on collecting hard-to-find lava lamps and buying, selling and trading them. If you ever wanted to make your own lava lamp, there’s even a group for the Lava Lamp Scientists.

If you don’t have time on your hands to tinker with making your own lamp, the network also has a lava lamp shop, promoted at the bottom of the main page. If this video of the lava in action doesn’t satiate your curiosity, go grab some goo.
