Lone%20Arrangers-7.jpg

The Lone Arrangers is a network for archivists and librarians who work solo in their departments.

You might think a social network for people who have chosen a career that’s, well, not very social wouldn’t be successful. To the contrary — just a week after its creation the Lone Arrangers already has nearly 100 members. The network’s success is likely due to providing a way for people with very specialized interests to meet and get to know each other.

Members are experimenting with both blogs and the forum to share ideas and spark conversations. Some have even uploaded photos of the library they work at or their favorite archival images. Check out the friendly faces in the members badge below, and stop by the Lone Arrangers to “work together while working alone!”
