The grass is greener at Phoenix Permaculture

Permaculture — a portmanteau of “permanent agriculture” — is an approach to seeking out long-term solutions for a more eco-friendly way of living. At the Phoenix Permaculture Guild, members share tips and tricks that will help mold Arizona’s capital into a green city.

You’ll find multiple workshops scheduled in the events tab, like Ruby Sheffer’s Seedball 101 or the Permaculture Design Course. Members who can’t make these classes can still make use of some great tutorials on the videos page. This one shows you how to get the most out of your blueberry plants. The network also fertilizes its members’ budding interest in permaculture with informative resources and education pages.

In permaculture, a guild is a group of plants, animals or microbacteria that work particularly well together. Seeing the level of cooperation and collaboration that goes towards Phoenix Permaculture, it’s no wonder this network calls itself a “Guild.”
