Connecting Nigerians, at home and abroad

Toto’s song about “missing the rains down in Africa” strikes an extra chord for members of members of the network Nigeria Connect, which describes itself as the “home of black social networking.”

The clientele may be relatively specific, but Nigeria Connect is still a great example of how to use Ning to bond communities. The groups page features a group called Tech Corner with a discussion about how to get started working in computers, and on the forums page you can aid a member asking for support to fight Nigeria’s unemployment problem.

Not everything at Nigeria Connect is serious, though! The music tab features plenty of bright and happy tunes, and the photos and videos are equally full of good people and good cheer. So visit Nigeria Connect, and contribute your thoughts and joys!
