In 2003, Rob Dyrdek, skateboarding legend and star of MTV’s Rob & Big, had seen one too many Hollywood movies try to portray skateboarding and flop miserably. Knowing that a real skateboarding film had to be made by real skateboarders, he and co-writer Nino Scalia took matters into their own hands. The result is Street Dreams, coming to theaters in Spring 2009.

The social network and official site of the movie reflects the skateboarding subculture. The “Skaters Vs.” custom tab lists all the classic adversaries of skateboarding, from cops to parents to skatestoppers. Join the over 5,000 members who are already on Street Dreams and discover the true voice of skateboarding.
