British Food Bloggers unite at the UKFBANing Network Spotlight Your Ning Network
Founded in 2007, the UK Food Bloggers Association is a social hub for people with their fingers on the pulse of the British food scene. The social network just celebrated its 100th member, Hannah Miles. Hannah was a finalist on the BBC show Masterchef in 2007, and writes the blog Hanna’s Country Kitchen.
The UKFBA makes great use of contests and giveaways to spur on member participation. Ten Mayan Magic chocolate-making kits are up for grabs to the bloggers who write or post a video about the most delicious and original chocolate creations. The contest is announced in a text box on the main page of the social network, with text, hyperlinks, and even an embedded image explaining the rules and prizes.
