the-list-project_-netroots

Founded in 2007, The List Project is dedicated to helping resettle Iraqis who have been displaced by the war in Iraq. Their social network, Netroots, has become a space for members from across the country to organize a grassroots effort to help hundreds of Iraqis resettle and succeed in the United States. All are encouraged to add their locations to the recently launched member map, allowing members to find nearby chapters as well as the Iraqis in the U.S. who need help settling in.

To hear more about this social network from The List Project’s Kirk Johnson and Zeba Kahn, check out this video. You can watch more Ning Creator stories or submit your own here.
