The Kainalu Project is a coalition of ocean sport enthusiasts and professionals, from surfers to paddlesurfers to windsurfers to spear fishers. Their social network of the same name helps them achieve their goal of “harmony and connection between all those in the water.” The Events section on the Kainalu Project is full of ocean events across the world, like the women-only 5 mile paddle from Amagansett to East Hampton, New York and the multi-sport SURFMonkey competition in Oceanside, California.

Members of the Kainalu Project social network share photos and videos related to the ocean like this conversation with Kainalu ambassador Jeff Clark, founding father of the famous surf spot Mavericks in Half Moon Bay, California. Fellow Ambassador Shane Dorian shows off his skills in this video from the Billabong XXL Monster Tube, and Ekolu Kalama talks Stand Up Paddle Surfing.
