Green Passport

Summer is the perfect time for students to take a trip and have an adventure in a new place. Green Passport is a social network designed to help members explore new areas and cultures in a sustainable, respectful and responsible way.

Using the Pages feature, Green Passport has created a great “about” section for the social network. This page provides additional ways for members to get involved, depending on whether they are students, or representatives from educational programs. The student section lists five ways that students can travel with a green passport: increase their awareness of issues, take the green passport pledge, take action while abroad, share what they’ve learned and advocate for change once back at home. All of these resources are created with Pages.

Even if you don’t have lots of articles to post, like Green Passport does, Pages are a great way to introduce your members to the Features on your social network. Particularly if your social network covers a narrow subject matter, you can use a Page to outline what types of content members should post, like Green Passport has done with their Share page.
