Sin By Silence

Sin by Silence is a powerful new Ning Network created to coincide with the release of Sin By Silence, a documentary film. The film confronts issues of domestic abuse and incarceration through the lens of a group that’s working to change how the system works,  Convicted Woman Against Abuse (CWAA). “The simplest solution to domestic violence is not being silent,” writes the Network Creator, which is where the name of both the film and the Ning Network come from.

The woman of CWAA are all in prison for confronting their abusers in some way. The Sin by Silence Ning Network gives those who have seen the powerful film resources and tools to get involved with the group and its mission to end domestic violence.  The addresses for the documentary subjects are included in a blog post so that members who would like to can reach out to them directly. Sin by Silence also provides information and resources for members who want to help someone who they believe may be a victim of domestic abuse.
