The OpenSocial train keeps rolling

Since our launch last week, we’re seeing the number of OpenSocial Applications on your network continue to grow. Some highlights of the new arrivals include:

Introducing Last.fm on Ning!

We’re pleased to announce that today Last.fm launched a killer “mini-experience” for the (at last count) 123,000 social networks on the Ning Platform.

Using Ning’s support for OpenSocial, the Last.fm Gadget can be added in seconds to member profile pages (as well as your network’s Main page).

OpenSocial & Ning

We love today’s OpenSocial announcement. For those of you who don’t eat, breathe, and sleep web standards, OpenSocial is a new open web API being spearheaded by Google and joined by a wide range of partners including us, Google’s own Orkut, LinkedIn, Hi5, Friendster, Salesforce.com, Oracle, iLike, Flixster, RockYou, and Slide.
