Hi all — it’s been six weeks since we took the covers off of Ning, and we’d like to thank everyone for all of your great ideas, feedback, and creativity! We’ve been blown away by the response and the enthusiasm we’ve seen.
In Restaurant Reviews with Maps, U.S. locations are automatically added to a map when you provide the address. That’s possible thanks to the geocoder.us database. Unfortunately, as some of you outside the U.S. have found, a similar database is not readily available for the rest of the world.
If you have a great idea for a version of Anytown Marketplace for your city or group and want to get the word out, let me know. Once you’ve created it, we’ll be more than happy to run a small Google AdWords advertising program for a few weeks on your behalf.
Just drop me a note at ceo at ning dot com.
