A favicon is the little icon you see to the left of the address bar in your browser. A favicon is a great way to customize your Ning Network!
To do this, you’ll need to create a file named “favicon.ico”. A favicon isn’t a typical image file and needs to be uploaded in ICO format. There are some great online resources, such as this one, which will resize and convert a regular image file into an ICO file.
Once you’ve created your “favicon.ico” file, you can upload it to your network by navigating to the My Network tab and clicking on “Network Details” under Settings. After you upload your favicon, click “Save.”
Please note: Depending on what browser you and your members are using, it may take several hours for your favicon to update.
