A sitemap gives a search engine a starting point to use when it crawls your Ning Network. As the Network Creator, you can edit the sitemap of your Ning Network by going to the My Network tab and clicking on “Sitemap” under the Tools heading. You will be taken to a page where you can then edit your sitemap. (Note that a sitemap is automatically created when you launch your Ning Network.)
By default, your sitemap will allow search engines to index public pages of your Ning Network, such as the Forum, Blogs and public Groups. When you add or remove features to your Ning Network, the sitemap will be updated automatically. If you would like to manually edit the sitemap of your Ning Network, you can do so by unchecking the option to automatically update your sitemap.
Whichever method you choose, your sitemap will be available at http://network.ning.com/sitemap.xml.
