Clicking on a theme will give you a live preview of what it would look like on your network. This panel also includes up to 50 of your last published themes in the My Themes section. You should also have a &#8220;Classic&#8221; theme available if you want to revert to the Classic Appearance Editor. <\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"tabs_1_53\" class=\"tabcontent\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ning.com\/help\/?p=5742\" target=\"_self\"><img src=\"https:\/\/storage.ning.com\/topology\/rest\/1.0\/file\/get\/50548638?profile=original\"  width=\"100\" height=\"\" alt=\"Frame Right\" class=\"frame_left\" \/><\/a> The <a href=\"\/help\/apply-a-new-layout-to-your-ning-network\/\">Layout panel<\/a> provides you with eight different arrangements to apply to your network. You can choose 2 or 3 columns, sidebar positioning, and even where the navigation shows up \u2014 above or below the header. [Note: The Layout panel in the Design Studio controls the layout of your entire site. The <a href=\"\/help\/change-the-layout-of-the-main-page\/\">Features Layout<\/a> controls the content on the Main Page.]<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"tabs_1_106\" class=\"tabcontent\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ning.com\/help\/?p=5749\" target=\"_self\"><img src=\"https:\/\/storage.ning.com\/topology\/rest\/1.0\/file\/get\/50548708?profile=original\"  width=\"150\" height=\"\" alt=\"Frame Right\" class=\"frame_right\" \/><\/a> The <a href=\"\/help\/customize-your-ning-networks-appearance-with-the-design-studio-2\/\">Customize panel<\/a> is where you can tweak details like header images, module background colors and font styles. If you need to change a color of something, this is the place to look. Most people start here when they want to create a custom header or change the background image for their entire site.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"tabs_1_163\" class=\"tabcontent\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ning.com\/help\/?p=5753\" target=\"_self\"><img src=\"https:\/\/storage.ning.com\/topology\/rest\/1.0\/file\/get\/50548710?profile=original\"  width=\"150\" height=\"\" alt=\"Frame Right\" class=\"frame_left\" \/><\/a> Available for Ning Plus and Pro, the <a href=\"\/help\/advanced-customization-with-the-design-studio\/\">Advanced panel<\/a> has two tricks up its sleeve: a place to Add Custom CSS, as well as an option to go into Developer Mode, where you can completely rework the theme you&#8217;ve selected. You can even create your own theme if you have the skills. Warning! If you <strong>don&#8217;t have<\/strong> advanced CSS skills, you could find yourself Getting stuck when using CSS! <\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--\/ tab box --><\/p>\n<div class=\"box box_green warrning_box\">Always use your test network when experimenting with <strong>custom code<\/strong> or adding <strong>third-party widgets<\/strong> that were not made by Ning!
