<\/p>\nThe My Network tab is where you as a Network Creator or administrator\u00a0can take advantage of all the tools and customizations available on your Ning Network. It’s where you can manage members, control your features, set profile questions and make a number of other adjustments to fine-tune your network.<\/p>\n
Below is a description of the items found in the column on the left. You can also reach much of this functionality via the\u00a0shortcuts menu on the right side of the page<\/p>\n

There are four main topics: Members<\/strong>, Content<\/strong>, Settings<\/strong> and Tools<\/strong>. Within these topics, you can select where you’d like to go. Here’s where those links take you:<\/p>\n MEMBERS<\/strong><\/p>\n Moderation<\/a><\/strong>:\u00a0 Approve new members, suspend current members and export your members’ profile information here.<\/p>\n Invitation<\/a><\/strong>:\u00a0Click on this link to invite your contacts to your network. You will\u00a0be able to import them from an existing address book,\u00a0enter that information manually or simply share the link for them to consider on their own.<\/p>\n Profile Questions<\/a><\/strong>: If you wish\u00a0to have new members share information upon signing up, you can create questions for them\u00a0here.<\/p>\n Message Broadcast<\/a><\/strong>: Send a message to all the members of your Ning Network.<\/p>\n Management<\/a><\/strong>: Appoint members to administrator or role moderator status.<\/p>\n Controls<\/a><\/strong>: Control moderation settings for signing in to or signing up on your network and\u00a0choose the extent of member control over their My Pages.<\/p>\n CONTENT<\/strong><\/p>\n Moderation<\/a><\/strong>:\u00a0Approve or delete content that members submit to your\u00a0Ning Network.<\/p>\n Activity Feed Message<\/a><\/strong>: Add facts about your Ning Network here. You can also\u00a0promote your organization or a website you like.<\/p>\n Controls<\/a><\/strong>: Control moderation settings for blog posts, events, groups,\u00a0photos and videos.<\/p>\n Archive<\/a><\/strong>: Click on this link to archive the content on your Ning Network.<\/p>\n SETTINGS<\/strong><\/p>\n Network Details<\/a><\/strong>: Change your network’s name, tagline,\u00a0icon, favicon, timezone and more.<\/p>\n Privacy<\/a><\/strong>: Make your network public or private and determine who can sign up, or take your network offline.<\/p>\n Appearance<\/a><\/strong>: Customize your Ning Network’s appearance.<\/p>\n Features Layout<\/a><\/strong>: Select which features you want your Ning Network to have.<\/p>\n Tabs<\/a><\/strong>: Customize the organization and appearance of your Ning Network’s tabs.<\/p>\n Language Editor<\/a><\/strong>: Change the translation of your Ning Network, or customize certain words.<\/p>\n Features<\/a><\/strong>: Set default images for groups and events, customize your Forum page, manage your Gift Store and control which items\u00a0show up in Latest Activity.<\/p>\n Support:<\/strong> Head to that page to search for Help Center articles, or to submit a help ticket.<\/p>\n Subscription:<\/strong> Manage the plan you’re subscribed to for your Ning Network.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The My Network tab is where you as a Network Creator or administrator\u00a0can take advantage of all the tools and customizations available on your Ning Network.
