{"id":5172,"date":"2012-04-18T23:55:34","date_gmt":"2012-04-18T23:55:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/help-o.ning.com\/?p=5172"},"modified":"2019-09-04T14:18:24","modified_gmt":"2019-09-04T14:18:24","slug":"share-your-top-content-with-leaderboards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ning.com\/help\/share-your-top-content-with-leaderboards\/","title":{"rendered":"Share Your Top Content with Leaderboards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Leaderboards feature\u00a0is a\u00a0great way to\u00a0promote interaction and excitement among your members\u00a0on your Ning Network.\u00a0Highlight\u00a0your Ning Network&#8217;s top members or content, or\u00a0customize the settings\u00a0to highlight particular\u00a0features on your network, such as\u00a0top photos, blog posts, videos, and discussions.<\/p>\n<p>To determine which content or members qualify as top content or top members on your network, the Leaderboards feature uses an algorithm that is based on the number and quality of comments on a particular content item, the item&#8217;s newness and number of shares, &#8220;Likes&#8221; and Google +1s it has obtained. Top Member status is based on this information as well as\u00a0how active a member is on the network.<\/p>\n<p>To add Leaderboards to your Ning Network, go to the My Network tab. Click\u00a0the &#8220;Features Layout&#8221; link\u00a0under the Settings section\u00a0in\u00a0the column on the left.\u00a0From there,\u00a0drag and drop Leaderboards into your\u00a0layout, and be sure to click &#8220;Save&#8221; when you&#8217;re done.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5177 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ning.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/outdoortimesleaders-600x526.jpg\" alt=\"Share Your Top Content with Leaderboards 1\" width=\"600\" height=\"526\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Leaderboards will appear on your main page.
