You can control what text is displayed in email notifications sent to members of your Ning Network with the Email feature.<\/p>\n

You can choose whether to display complete, partial, or\u00a0no text in\u00a0messaging, comment and new content\u00a0emails sent\u00a0from your network. This flexibility can grant members the ease of keeping up with your network’s activities and members\u00a0from their own email accounts. On the flip side, you can also limit the amount of content your members see outside of the network, thus increasing traffic by\u00a0requiring\u00a0them to retrieve\u00a0the entire text of the\u00a0message\u00a0from their account on\u00a0your network.<\/p>\n

You can access the Email feature by heading over to the My Network tab and clicking the “Email” link\u00a0under the Settings heading.<\/p>\n

In the email tab, you can make changes to how Member communications and Content updates are sent.<\/p>\n

Member<\/strong> communications<\/strong> refers to\u00a0private messages, profile comments\u00a0and\u00a0friend requests.\u00a0Content updates<\/strong> refer to new\u00a0forum discussions;\u00a0comments on forum discussions, blog posts, photos, videos, groups, events and pages;\u00a0and\u00a0notifications for members who are following\u00a0new blog posts, discussions, events, photos or videos. You can choose from the following options for each type of email:<\/p>\n
