It can also be caused by certain Javascripts added to the network.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Make sure your\u00a0<a href=\"\/help\/supported-browsers\/\">browser is supported<\/a>. If you aren&#8217;t sure what browser version you&#8217;re using, you can visit <a href=\"http:\/\/useragentstring.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">useragentstring.com<\/a><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>Perform a &#8220;hard refresh&#8221; in your browser (Windows: Ctrl+Shift+R \/ Mac: Command+Shift+R)<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Try another browser &#8211; a robust browser like\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/en-US\/firefox\/new\/?from=getfirefox&amp;f=116\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Firefox<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/chrome\/browser\/desktop\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Chrome<\/a>\u00a0is recommended<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Make sure\u00a0<a href=\"\/help\/enable-javascript-in-your-browser\/\">Javascript is enabled<\/a> in your browser<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>Double check your security and ad blocking software &#8211; installed applications and browser add-ons (like Ghostery or Adblock Plus)\u00a0can block Javascript, which is required for proper network functionality<\/li>\n<li>Add-ons from FunWebProducts are known to conflict with Ning Networks &#8211; if you are using any of these add-ons or notice them\u00a0on <a href=\"http:\/\/useragentstring.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">useragentstring.com<\/a>\u00a0you&#8217;ll want to disable them while testing<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>If you are a Network Creator, check your Custom Code page (in My Network tab)\u00a0&#8211; some Javascript can conflict with proper network functionality<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Make sure cookies are enabled\u00a0in your browser<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Provide us with your <a href=\"\/help\/javascript-tester\/\">computer and browser details<\/a><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Chat\/Videos\/Photo Slideshow won&#8217;t load<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All of these features run on Adobe Flash Player &#8211; if Flash isn&#8217;t installed, is outdated , or is corrupt, they may not display properly. You can download Flash <a href=\"https:\/\/get.adobe.com\/flashplayer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I can&#8217;t see text or links<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s possible that your network&#8217;s appearance settings have been set such that text has a similar color to the background. If this is the case, you can read text by highlighting it with Ctrl+A (PC) or Command+A (Mac). In this case, the Network Creator will need to go to the Appearance page in the My Network tab and modify the colors on the network.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I get signed out when I click on a link in the network<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is likely being caused by a corrupt, outdated, or missing cookie.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Try another\u00a0different browser to determine if the issue stems from the one you&#8217;re using; if so&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Make sure cookies are enabled\u00a0in your browser<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Clear your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ning.com\/help\/?s=clear+cookies\">browser&#8217;s cookies<\/a><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Clear your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ning.com\/help\/?s=clear+cache\">browser&#8217;s cache<\/a><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>I see a warning message on the network<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sometimes people see warning messages due to security or anti-spam software they have installed on their computer. This can happen if their firewall settings are inadvertently blocking any Ning Networks. If so, they should change the settings for it to allow access.
