In order to join your Ning Network or apply for membership, individuals must meet a minimum age.\u00a0All members joining must be at least 13 per our Terms of Service<\/a>, so the default the minimum age to join your Ning Network is 13. However, you can increase the minimum age requirement.<\/p>\n

To update the minimum age, head to the My Network tab and click the “Controls” link in the Members area. Below “Member Age” you\u2019ll see a drop-down menu to update the minimum age requirement to anything between 13 and 100. Updating the minimum age requirement will also update the language in your Ning Network\u2019s Terms of Service.<\/p>\n

In order to join or apply for membership, a new member\u2019s age must meet the minimum age you\u2019ve set. If someone tries to join and but does not meet your age requirement, they\u2019ll see the following error message: “Based on the information you have provided, you are ineligible to register for a new account.”<\/p>\n
