NING never stops developing new features for its highly acclaimed website builder. Our team is working hard to improve and perfect the platform so that our dearest customers could enjoy the smooth and trouble-free user experience.
This time around, we are happy to surprise you with a new update (although still in beta phase) that adds an advanced and easy-to-use Landing Page Builder to NING’s already impressive arsenal of website building tools. The new software will help you create a truly stylish, modern-looking landing page for your social network with minimum hassle. The Landing Page Builder utilizes an advanced Drag-and-Drop interface which is why the tool is so amazingly user-friendly. With its help, you can get your new landing page up and running in no time!
How? Just follow these simple instructions to get started:
- Go to your network admin panel and select Site & Pages in the sidebar;
- Click “Add a landing page” in the main navigation menu;
- Enter the landing page title and tab title in the corresponding text fields;
- Define the URL for your new landing page;
- Click “Save”.
That’s it – your landing page is now created! It’s time to customize its appearance and fill it with some great content. To do this, simply click the “Edit layout and content” button.
You will be immediately redirected to your new landing page which will be opened in the editing mode. All you have to do now is:
- Select a design template by clicking “Templates” in the upper control bar;
- Create top-notch content to captivate your audience;
- Tweak the design of the page to make it truly unique;

- Click “Save & close” in the upper control bar to save the changes. You will then be redirected back to your NING admin panel and asked whether you want to publish your landing page. Click “Publish” to make it visible online.
Congratulations! Your new shiny landing page is now ready to do its job – bring more members to your network.
We’ve put a lot of effort and many hours of work into this amazing new tool to help you make your network even better and increase your conversions. However, while the Landing Page Builder is still in beta, please pay attention to the following recommendations:
- Currently, you can’t select another design template after saving the page. Please make sure to choose the right template at the first attempt.
- To go back to the admin panel, click on the NING logo in the upper left corner.
- To make navigating between specific network pages easier for visitors, consider duplicating your network menu on the landing page. You can easily attach the corresponding links through the text editing menu of the Landing Page Builder.
- After editing a clickable button, it occasionally appears impossible to highlight the button text again, or the formatting menu fails to show up normally. Please click on any random text block on the page and then highlight the button text once again. Alternatively, click on the button text and press “Ctrl + A” on your keyboard. This action highlights the entire text on your button and calls out the formatting menu.
- Apply the center alignment to entire text blocks instead of their specific text fragments. Aligning the selected text within a text block is currently unavailable.
- After subsequently adding and deleting a slide more than twice, an error may ensue. Please try to avoid performing these actions until the issue is resolved.
- Some of the icons (e.g., the “Play” icon) cannot be replaced or modified more than once. Please make sure to introduce the required changes at the first attempt.
- Changing the text case of Megamenu and Dropdown links is occasionally followed by an error message. Click the “Dismiss” button and retry changing the text case. Try to avoid special symbols like #, $, @, etc. You may need to repeat the said actions a few times before the change will go into effect.
- Deleting all the text within a text block may occasionally result in the inability to carry out any further editing actions. Please delete the entire text block by clicking the “Delete Layer” icon and replace it with a new one. This will enable you to edit the text normally again.
- To change a favicon, please upload the image not exceeding 200 KB in size.
Due to the technical complexity and abundance of visual customization tools utilized by the Landing Page Builder, minor issues causing temporary inconvenience or data loss are imminent at the early stages. Please refer to the cases described above if you encounter any difficulties while using the Landing Page Builder and follow the suggested instructions to avoid them.
