All Ning 3.0 Networks have the ability to make use of our Email Digest feature. This feature allows you and your members to choose to receive daily summaries of updates to content you follow, rather than getting individual notifications for each new activity. To enable the Email Digest feature on your network, head to the\u00a0Email Settings page in the Member Management panel of your network’s dashboard. To begin working with the Email Digests feature, check the \u201cEnable feature\u201d box and then the \u201cSave\u201d button.<\/p>\n

You and your members are now all set to begin opting in to this feature. \u00a0You have the ability to determine how much text from each content update will display in the Email Digest. \u00a0Select “No text” to display just a link in the email, or select “200” or “Full text” to give your members some context of each content update.<\/p>\n

From this same page, you can also customize your Email Digest with a header you upload, or you can include an ad that you’d like to have appear above the items in your members\u2019 digest emails. \u00a0Click \u201cSave\u201d when you\u2019re done.<\/p>\n

Enabling\u00a0this feature will allow you and your members to opt in to receiving email digests. \u00a0By default, your current settings for receiving immediate notifications will remain in place. \u00a0To activate the feature for your account, head to your profile settings by clicking on the pencil icon on your profile page. \u00a0Click \u201cEmail\u201d in the tabs beneath your profile photo. From here, select the option to receive \u201cDaily\u201d emails and click \u201cUpdate\u201d at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n
