The Design Studio for Ning 3.0 has been updated with new themes, improved controls, and some exciting new layout options. We\u2019re calling this major update Design Studio Version 2. Version 2 is available for all Ning 3.0 networks, and can be accessed from the Design Studio drop-down by selecting any theme such as Glossy Bossy.<\/p>\n

Version 2 comes with eleven brand new themes, tile backgrounds, and powerful controls to give you a new level of theme customization. It makes it easy for you to apply new width options to your network (including 100% width), and provides flexible layout options for your tabs. Read on for more highlights of Version 2.<\/p>\n

New Controls in Version 2 of the Design Studio<\/h3>\n

In version 2 of the Design Studio, we have rolled up many of the previous color, text, and effects options into one \u201cpage\u201d tab. From the new \u201cpage\u201d tab, you will have the ability to customize the look and feel of your Network by controlling general design settings, module settings, links\/buttons, and effects.<\/p>\n

One key point of differentiation is the new text (\u201ct\u201d) button that provides the ability to select bold, italic, underline, and all capital letters for your text. Additionally, we have added a new links\/button tab. From there you can change the color of \u201clinks\u201d, which will change the color of hyperlinks on your Network. You will also see a new \u201chover\u201d option, which will change the color of a hyperlink when it is hovered over.<\/p>\n
