In addition to moderating membership<\/a> on your network, you can also choose to approve Photos, Videos and Discussions before they are posted on your Ning Network. Head to your dashboard and click on the “Site & Pages” tab. Then, select your Photos, Videos or Discussion page to edit the page’s settings. For each page’s settings, respectively, check the \u201cApprove content before it appears\u201d box, and then click \u201cSave\u201d at the bottom of each page.<\/p>\n

The next time members upload videos or photos, you and your administrators will see a number in the green administrative toolbar next to the content icon. You’ll also see these items appear on your Dashboard under the “Content Management” section.<\/p>\n

By clicking on the icon for the Content Management panel, you\u2019ll be taken to a page where you can review the videos or photos and choose to approve or delete them. You can even choose to apply permissions for all future content added by a member by first selecting the “Apply to all Photos added by…” radio button and then moderating the content.<\/p>\n

Note that\u00a0email notifications are not sent out to alert you when you have content awaiting approval. When you have content to approve, you’ll see a number appear beside the content icon in the green administrative toolbar.<\/div>\n
