The My Network tab is where you as a Network Creator or administrator can take advantage of all the tools and customizations available on your Ning Network. It’s where you can manage members, control your features, set profile questions and make a number of other adjustments to fine-tune your network.
Below is a description of the items found in the column on the left. You can also reach much of this functionality via the shortcuts menu on the right side of the page
There are four main topics: Members, Content, Settings and Tools. Within these topics, you can select where you’d like to go. Here’s where those links take you:
MEMBERS
Moderation: Approve new members, suspend current members and export your members’ profile information here.
Invitation: Click on this link to invite your contacts to your network. You will be able to import them from an existing address book, enter that information manually or simply share the link for them to consider on their own.
Profile Questions: If you wish to have new members share information upon signing up, you can create questions for them here.
Message Broadcast: Send a message to all the members of your Ning Network.
Management: Appoint members to administrator or role moderator status.
Controls: Control moderation settings for signing in to or signing up on your network and choose the extent of member control over their My Pages.
CONTENT
Moderation: Approve or delete content that members submit to your Ning Network.
Activity Feed Message: Add facts about your Ning Network here. You can also promote your organization or a website you like.
Controls: Control moderation settings for blog posts, events, groups, photos and videos.
Archive: Click on this link to archive the content on your Ning Network.
SETTINGS
Network Details: Change your network’s name, tagline, icon, favicon, timezone and more.
Privacy: Make your network public or private and determine who can sign up, or take your network offline.
Appearance: Customize your Ning Network’s appearance.
Features Layout: Select which features you want your Ning Network to have.
Tabs: Customize the organization and appearance of your Ning Network’s tabs.
Language Editor: Change the translation of your Ning Network, or customize certain words.
Features: Set default images for groups and events, customize your Forum page, manage your Gift Store and control which items show up in Latest Activity.
Support: Head to that page to search for Help Center articles, or to submit a help ticket.
Subscription: Manage the plan you’re subscribed to for your Ning Network.
